Success in Learning and Life
- I am good at customer service related things. My job requires me to constantly be friendly to customers and answer to their needs. I know I am good at it because occasionally there would be secret shoppers that come in and test whether you are showing 100% customer service, and I have was able to show that on 4 occasions already.
- In order for me to have a good learning environment, the room I am working in must be a good 60 degrees and extremely quiet.
From the focus walk, I heard from others that Yash’s ideal learning environment has to have lots of resources because resources are the key ingredients to a kid’s success.
- In order for me to be successful and implement these keys to success, I can start off by being energized. Studying or doing homework on an empty stomach will only lead you to think about food instead of actually working. Also if it is super cold, or super hot, my focus will waver and an uncomfortable feeling will start to sink in, hindering my focus and attention span. To solve this I crack open a window so fresh air can cloud the atmosphere of my parking area.
I could relate to Brian Leemar’s post during week 5 about success and learning in life because I myself work with customers in retail (IKEA) and ensure that their needs are met, leaving the store as satisfied as can be. If a customer is dissatisfied, I help them in the next best way possible even if they don’t fully get what they want but at the same time, you can only do so much in retail.
